No doubt, study in Korea was a harebrained scheme.
When I got to know that some of my university group mates are going to Italy next spring I was just in for a shock. It goes without saying that I bottled up my feelings and didn’t give vent to my frustration but it was a nasty surprise, I must admit. Frankly speaking, I was looking forward to being offered such an opportunity and when they were chosen instead of me I really felt a fit of jealousy. I even took exception to their enthusiasm towards the forthcoming trip. I had to admit defeat in this field, although I wouldn’t say that this fact somehow shattered my confidence.
Anyway, the thought of living in Korea filled my parents with dread. What’s more, my mother was worried sick. She used to say that I increase her stress levels all the time. Honestly, I think I can’t absolutely deny it.

There was an outpouring of grief when the President of USA Kennedy was killed. The country was in a state of shock. More than that, it was a feeling that somebody’s menaces even hastened his death. It goes without saying, it was an inconsolable grief of the whole nation. However, there was no threat of civil war hanging over the country because nobody had any intense dislike of the President’s successor.

He has a perfect reputation. He has never been criticised for a lapse of judgement or for any disparaging remarks made in a public speeches. His comments have never fuelled fears that anybody could retaliate with more than just words. He has no habit of hurling insults and nobody has ever suffered rough treatment at his hands. It’s just a laughable idea that he could be a murderer.
